Is it cheating if I just change the colors? LOL
Here’s the pink-I’ts a Girl!- version of the baby announcement card.

Wow. 10 days already. How time flies!
In other news, I sold some of my Grazie Italian greeting card design. Thank you to my buyer! I hope you enjoy them muchisimo.

It’s funny how small things inspire you. This card started out as an African themed design. I definitely wanted the giraffe, I just wasn’t having a lot of success finding an African print to fill the background. Long story short, this card has been in the makings for a few days and I kept saving it and returning to it, but something was always off.
But today, I got a flash of inspiration. I decided to add a Polaroid frame next to the giraffe (it was still in African theme) and add a caption, “Wild Safari” or something along those lines. I was playing with the giraffe layer and just happened to hit the color overlay option and that was that. I got the break I needed. So, from African greeting to It’s A Boy!

The inside of the Polaroid frame is transparent so that buyer’s can personalize it with their own pictures of the newborn in Zazzle. I used MorganBW’s Confetti and Streamer brush set for the confetti effect.

Anybody feeling a little Italian? Today’s card was inspired by one of my favorite restaurants, Olive Garden. Grape vines and the Italian word ‘Grazie’ (Thank You) adorn this charming card.

Day 5 already? Wow
Did everybody survive Black Friday shopping madness? Did we lose someone along the way? LOL
Today’s card features the three wise men (which is one of my mom’s favorite themes during the holidays) riding in golden camels across a starry night. I’ve made two versions for my Zazzle store: one just like it’s pictured here and one where you can customize the greeting on the front of the card. The default is Feliz Navidad (Merry Christmas).

Almost didn’t make it! LOL
The holiday shopping season has begun with Black Friday and even though I wasn’t standing in line somewhere at 4AM, I did go Christmas shopping today. Almost have everyone on the list crossed out! One last trip to my local Wal-mart and I’ll be done! I’ve never been done with my Christmas shopping so early! ^_^
Here is today’s card: golden bells and warm Season Greetings. As usual it can be bought through my Zazzle store.

Today I created a simple, classical card with cool blue and green colors. When I made this card I knew I wanted to make it available as a Zazzle template, so I made the center of the ornament transparent. People looking for photo cards can replace the place holder image with one of their own. (That’s my beautiful cat, Emily, featured in this preview).

In an effort to stay active designing and to gain a lot of practice using Photoshop (you learn a new technique everyday) I have decided to start a new personal challenge: 30 Days of Designs.
First Round: Greeting Cards
So, let’s jump right in. Here is the first design: a holiday greeting card featuring a red reindeer in a festive background. Design was created using All Silhouettes Vector Animals set. As usual, design can be purchased through my Zazzle store. I’ve created a variety of products using it, including a stamp. ^_^
