    Teacher Tuesdays: Printable Americana Classroom Resources Set

    June 29th, 2010

    Our second Teacher Tuesday set continues with the patriotic theme, only I’ve given it a spin and transformed it into an Americana decor style. I really didn’t see teachers using BBQ items in their classrooms, so I keep the patriotic and tossed the food items. I really like the way these items turned out. They have that old, worn , yet charming  feeling. They are perfect for History teachers and for celebrating patriotic events during the school year.

    The set includes (the above preview image does not have all items):

    • Door banners- Welcome
    • Bookmarks – 2 different designs
    • Student Desk Nameplates – 9.5″ W x 2.875″ H / 2 different designs
    • Student Name Tags -  3.5″ W x 2.5″ H / 6 per page
    • Hall Passes – girls’ bathroom, boys’ bathroom and hall pass
    • Homework Calendar
    • Monthly Planner

    • Blank letterhead
    • Seating Chart

    Special Note: I apologize for the delay on posting today’s set. My computer is having some problems and I spent the majority of the day working with it. It doesn’t help that it’s thundering and lighting outside my window, which forces me to unplug the PC and cuts down on my work time. >_<

    Free: Printable Fourth of July B.B.Q. Invitation and Envelope Template

    June 26th, 2010

    So, we made it through the first week of our new sections. How did you like all those sets? Personally, I think they are cute and full of potential. The last set, the firefighter birthday party kit, is only available through my new Etsy store – htp://www.etsy.com/shop/bonetgraphics. Make sure you bookmark the store since I’ll be adding lots of different goodies in the future.

    The Fourth of July is coming up next week. I’ve always associated B.B.Q.’s with this holiday (I know I’m not alone in this association.) My next theme is a patriotic B.B.Q. set. It will feature mainly grilling and food items, but it also has some patriotic red, white and blue graphics to honor this holiday. I know that Friday’s party theme will be cutting it close to the deadline, but I’ve created it so you can use it on any patriotic occasion, and not just the Fourth of July. (You can also buy it, print it, and have it done really quickly before the big day on Sunday. I believe in last minute party planning.)

    Here’s a look at next week’s theme and a FREEBIE – a printable Fourth of July B.B.Q. Invitation and Envelope Template. You have to get those invitations in the mail if you’re going to have a party on Sunday! (But really, you can use them for any B.B.Q…).

    :: File Dimensions ::

    • Invitation is 5″x 7″
    • Envelope is 4.5″ x 6″

    :: File Format ::

    • PDF formatted to 8.5″ x 11″ letterhead sized sheets

Don’t ask me why. I really don’t know what inspired me to make this the first theme- maybe it was the fire station down the road. All I know is that they turned out really cute!

    Re-design and re-structure

    June 18th, 2010

    After much tweaking, I’ve finally finished the new look for my blog, store and portfolio website. (If you’re reading this through a blog subscription service please click on the link to see the changes!) I’m very pleased with the new look and the new direction my blog is taking.

    So, how did I get here? One day I sat down at a local cafe and decided to re-focus my business and give it some structure. You see, I was doing a bunch of graphics, but I was running around doing a piece of this and a piece of that instead of concentrating on a specific market. But, that was the past – this is the future:  Bonet Graphic Designs will now specialize in creating graphics targeted at the scrapbooking community, the hard working teachers and people who love to plan and give parties.

    With that in mind, I’ve created three new sections:

    Scrapbooking Mondays: every Monday there will be a new set designed for scrapbooking, be it digital or traditional. Sets will include clip art, digital stamps, patterns, etc.

    Teacher Tuesdays: every Tuesday there will be a new printable set for teachers in PDF form. These sets will include: calendars, seating charts, hall passes, desk nameplates, bookmarks, notepads, etc.

    TGIF- Let’s Party: every Friday there will be a new printable set for party planners (birthdays, baby showers, weddings, etc.). These sets will include: party hats, cupcake toppers, place holders, banners, goody bags, cupcake wrappers, cut-outs, invitations, etc.

    Every week I’ll have a different theme from which I will create sets for each section. This also means that this blog will be updated on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Occasionally, I’ll have some freebies, like Wordpress themes, icons or miscellaneous printables.

    The best way to keep updated is to: subscribe to the RSS feed, follow us on Twitter (@BonetGraphics), or become our fan on Facebook (Bonet Graphics).

    Here’s a sneek peek at next week’s theme:

    Hope to see you then!

    Bonet Graphic Designs Store – ONLINE

    June 14th, 2010

    Hello Everyone!

    I’m back from the CHLA Annual Conference in Michigan. Spent a lovely time in Ann Arbor, MI. Catching up on my Museum of Natural History and nature trails. I had a wonderful time and a much need rest/vacation. I also fixed my laptop. I was having some problems with it last week and I finally got it working up to speed once more.

    My store is back online this week. I haven’t added all the previous products yet, but I’m getting there. Most of the clip art is up and working. I also fixed the links and images on their posts here on the blog. While I was updating the files I found these little cuties that I created and packaged and forgot to add to my store inventory!

    They are a set of 5 girls dressed in sailor school uniforms. Enjoy!

    Bonet Graphic Designs Store – Offline

    June 1st, 2010

    Hello Everyone!

    As you know, I’m working on changing my website’s design, which includes the Wordpress theme, the Cubecart store and my online portfolio section. I’m going to be doing a few changes in the store, so I’ve turned it off while I work on it. I’m also working with my hosting company to switch my domain. Anyway, the download files in the store are going to be re-located to another section, which will make them unavailable if anybody orders anything, so better safe than sorry.

    The Wordpress theme is all set and ready to go. I hope to have everything up and running again by next week.

    UPDATE::

    The Cubecart design is done! My domain switching is done! Unfortunately, my Cubecart configuration got iffy in the process, so I had to re-install it. I lost all my written data (or I haven’t found it yet in my backup files). Oh well. I’ll have to re-upload all my files and write the descriptions. Good thing I didn’t have THAT many products at this point.

    Which reminds me, the links on previous posts to my Cubecart listings are all broken now. I have to re-link them once I get all the products back into the store.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Stay frosty!
