Thinking of you – Version 2

This card went through a lot of transformation. First it was going to be a Thank You card (the original file name gives that away), but I decided against doing another Thank You card. The rounded rectangles in the background changed from color, size and position various times before I finally got inspired to fill them with “handwritten” text. I even considered doing a word cloud, like the ones you can create over at Wordle, but decided against it. (I’ll hold on to that idea for a future design). I do like the way the card turned out, specially the bird.

Wow. Only 10 more days of designs left!

What better way to say Congratulations than with an elegant greeting card?

Today’s card features a beautiful, elegant pattern by Camxso from his 2009 Christmas collection.

Today’s card features an Egyptian theme: hieroglyphics, cranes and decorative trim. I really like the way it turned out!

I finally came up with an African design that I like! “Greetings from Africa” features two giraffes popping out of decorated Polaroid frames.  The idea came to me while I was designing another card that had nothing to do with an African theme. My brain works in overtime – I swear. ^_^

My favorite pet: cats! “Must Love Cats” simple, colorful and pink! Do you love cats? I do. I have two beautiful and playful cats: Emily and Spooky. I don’t think I’ve ever dressed them in pink though. Spooky has a pink fuzzy mouse that she carries around the apartment.Maybe that inspired the pink in the card. ^_^

Today’s card is for dog lovers! “Must love Dogs” in blue, green and polka dots. (There’s a lot of green in my designs isn’t there? I like green! ^_^) Do you love dogs? Know someone who does? My eldest sister has a cute one named Tobey. My next door neighbor has the cutest little doggy. Dogs are OK with me. I love cats and dogs. They’re both cute!

Time for another Thank You card. Well, that’s what I had in mind when I designed it, but you can add whatever message you want in the middle portion.  Today’s card features a classic and elegant look in red and gray.
